Joseph has been teaching ASL for 10 years at the university level. He is a Certified Deaf Interpreter (CDI) and previously worked at VRS Interpreting Institute. Now he’s a manager at GoReact and presents at workshops on assessments and feedback for ASL education. Joseph has a master’s degree in English/ASL interpreting from the University of North Florida, but he also has a bachelor’s in recreational therapy and management from Brigham Young University. He’s an avid outdoorsman who’s worked as a whitewater river guide and a licensed ski instructor. Joseph loves to be outside whenever possible mountain biking, backpacking, visiting national parks, and observing wildlife. He also loves spending time with his wife and two kids.
